Ha Ha! When I “fostered” a cat for two months, I had to ban him from my bedroom because whenever the clock struck 5 am, or daylight broke (whichever happened first) that cat was on me. Being menopausal means I have a hard enough time getting to–and staying–asleep. Cats are nocturnal. They’ll play with the rugs and toilet paper rolls all night long. Then, at the crack of dawn, they want breakfast. And then they promptly go to sleep for the rest of the day. I couldn’t take it!
I do this and in my case the “monster” is my cat. As soon as he sees a foot hanging outside of the covers he sneaks up and nibbles (bites) my toes!
